What would you do in a situation like this?
The correct answer would be to fold. I went ahead and called. That was a bad move on my part. For some reason I had placed him on a middle pocket pair.
Kim G calls $6
FLOP: Ts 2h 6s
Kim G checks
Player 8 checks
We both were playing it honestly and it boiled down to a horse race. At this point I was losing.
TURN: Ts 2h 6s Jd
I got lucky on the flop and bet accordingly.
Kim G bets $17
Player 8 folds
Kim G wins $16 uncontested
$1 raked.
If he had come back at me with a re-raise bluff I would have folded.
